SANTIAGO DE ARLÓS (LLANERA)
Description
No information is kept on the origin of this church that is located on the end of S. XII and the beginning of the XIII. It has a single nave and a rectangular apse with a flat roof with a window in the center, separated by a beautiful semicircular arch of two highly decorated alveoli on beautiful capitals. It is also very interesting the Romanesque cover of two archivolts similar to the interior.
This church was always plastered, but in 2007, when it was restored, the rebock was lifted, and then the stone was covered again. We present the image of the church in both situations.
