SANTA MARIA DE TRISTE (R)
Description
Church, currently rebuilt, of a single nave with a presbytery and a flat head, considered to be from the 12th century, although it must be of Visigoth or Mozarabic origin and possibly razed to the ground in a Muslim razor, a period in which horseshoe arches are conserved in a window and door as well as spikelet rigging on some of its walls. Very interesting is its beautiful tower, built in the Lombard way although with very special characteristics, like two spans with mullion formed by a central column and capital in the shape of a shoe on two of its sides.
