ERMITA DE SANTIAGO DE AGÜERO (R)
Description
Started to build in the middle of the 12th century, it was to be a basilica with three naves and three apses but it was not finished, cutting the three naves after the first section with a wall. Two very different periods are appreciated in its construction, of much lower quality the second, which seems to have suffered the hurry for its closure and termination. This also led to its magnificent cover of four archivolts on columns and decorated capitals and an effigy in the tympanum, which should go to the west, be located on the south wall of the first section of the ship, with a back cover inside.
