MONASTERIO DE SANTA MARÍA DE RETUERTA (R )
Description
This monastery was the first Premonstratensian Foundation in Spain, thanks to a donation in 1145. The suite consists of the Church, the cloister, the Hospice and other dependencies. The Church was of a Latin cross with three naves, which only built the first section, with transept covered by Vault vault and triple apse, higher the central, divided into three parts with windows flare on columns and capitals While the sides have a window and inside are low-height because they have a small stay on the dome.
