Description

Existing before the Arab invasion, it was destroyed by Abderraman III, in an area repopulated in 1086 by Alfonso VI. What exists today comes from its construction in the thirteenth century from which are conserved some walls and the tower of the Homage, with four floors of wood, and from the reform of the fifteenth century, in which the tower was reinforced and a barbican was added and, on the opposite side a large defensive structure and a moat in its access from the moor. After diverse vicissitudes the castle passed to property of the City Council of Íscar that has restored it for use in various events.
