Description

Castle of Arabic origin constructed in the 12th century on a Roman accession, which was reconquered by Jaime I in 1239 though it happened to depend definitively on Castile in 1244. It took part in the wars of The Germaniás, of Secession and of the Independence, of which it was very damaged. It is formed by a double enclosure walled from plant to rectangular, with the exterior wall defended by twelve towers and interior by circular buckets and a great tower of the honoring of four floors, in which the vaults are very interesting almohades of the first two plants and the stairs of roof spaces.
