SANTIAGO DE ALLARIZ (R)
Description
Located in the heart of the villa, this church built in the 12th century, consisting of a single nave with a flat roof, a presbytery covered by a barrel vault and a semicircular apse with half point windows on columns and capitals. It is covered by an oven vault and its exterior is divided into three openings by columns deliveries and presents a beautiful cornice with arches on decorated canecillos. Very interesting are the two covers, one on the main façade formed by a large door of three half point arches supported by two pairs of kneeling columns and with an interesting decoration of sawing teeth and rollers. The southern one is simpler but with a beautiful decoration, as in the whole church.
