SANTA MARIÑA DE AUGAS SANTAS (R)
Description
At the end of the twelfth century the regular canons of Saint Augustine began the present church of Santa Marina de Aguas Santas in honor of the saint martyred in the 2nd century. Their beautiful history is followed in all the surroundings, but they do not conclude it. It will be the Templars who do it in the 13th century. The church has a basilical plan with three naves covered by a wooden coffered ceiling on the façade arches and three semicircular apses, much larger than the central than the lateral ones.
