Description

On the ninth century episcopal palace that was destroyed in the neighborhood revolt of 1117, Archbishop Gelmírez had this palace built which is one of the few examples of civil Romanesque architecture that have come to us. Among the rooms of more interest that are preserved in magnificent state, we can emphasize among others the Room of Arms, formed by two rectangular spaces of five sections, the Hall of Ceremonies built in the XIII century, space of six sections located on the previous one, or the interesting Romanesque cuisine.
