MONASTERIO DE ZAMARTZE
Description
Set made up of a spiritual retreat house built in modern times, and a small Romanesque hermitage, which is the most interesting building in the set and whose construction must have been undertaken around the year 1140 on a previous construction, in a location where there are Roman remains. The hermitage consists of a nave with three sections with a wooden roof and a portal with four archivolts on the south side, and an anteapse ending in a semicircular apse.
