Description
The village of Villanueva del Rio remained covered by the waters of Aguilar de Campoo’s reservoir and with he his church, that of San Juan and a bridge of the 13th century. The latter has traversed worse luck provided that it continues in his original and alone emplacement shows in epochs of drought. Nevertheless, lucky, the church was dismantled and reconstructed stone to stone in the park of the capital palentina known as ” La Huerta del Guadián”.
