CASTILLO DE GUIJOSA (R)
Description
Built in the 14th century, it is a square-plan castle formed by tall murallons with massive cylindrical turrets in the corners and a large square homage tower in its center with the door on the first floor. It had no outer enclosure, but had a small moat today disappeared. All those elements are crenellated and there are matacanes in the center of each side. The original entrance door, with a semicircular arch, is almost blocked by one of the constructions added later. The castle has been restored and is currently for sale.
