The next stopover is the capital of the province: Soria, which counts with the church of St. Domingo, famous for being the only one in this region with the French style of the region of Poitou, probably due to the presence of Leonor of England, daughter of Leonor de

The hermitage of La Soledad is situated in the famous municipality soriano of Calatañazor, declared Historical Artistic National Set in 1962, but that has gone on to the history for being where the Arabic commander Almanzor was defeated in 1002 by Sancho García, Count of Castile. Of Romanesque style, the hermitage just preserves his plant, the head-board and the north front page due to a series of reforms and transformations that it suffered in the 17th century.
The Romanesque cathedral of the Asuncion was one of the first buildings that were done in Osma’s Hamlet, initiated about 1101 by the bishop San Pedro de Osma whose remains rest in the cathedral. To a little time to finish the work, in the 13th century, the bishop Juan Domínguez arranged his demolition to construct a Gothic temple. Of the first Romanesque alone building they reduce a couple of double arches of communication between chapterhouse and cloister located to the north side of the temple.
Día 3
The church of San Miguel, constructed at the end of the 11th century, constituted an innovation in Castilla inside the Romanesque art being his gallery porticada the most ancient of the region soriana from which it would spread for the rest of Castile. Belfry toasts it it was raised by posteriority using stones proceeding from next Roman deposits since the stela placed under the front page demonstrates west of the tower.
