CASA RURAL MORALEJOS

Traditional countryside house in river Oja’s Valley. Its ground floor used to be destined to breed and host the cattle, the first floor was used as the actual house and the second floor was the barn. The last froor is attic shaped and was used to dry meat.

After the refurbishment in 2011, there is a kitchen-dining room and a cosy living-room with fireplace in the ground floor. You can also access to a courtyard that offers wonderful views of the Oja’s Valley and Cantabria’s mountain range. In the first floor there are three double bedrooms and two fully-equipped bathrooms. The second floor presents the same distribution as the first floor but with its characteristic attic shaped ceilings. The last floor is now a place to do the laundry and from where you can exit to a terrace ideal for sunbathing and refreshing yourself with a portable shower.

During the refurbishment, the traditional arquitetonic elements characteristic of the area have been taken care of: the walls are made of stone and sun-dried brick, the beams and pillars of oak and black poplar wood and the roof of arabic tiles. Its clay floor in the ground floor and its pine parquet flooring in the first and second floor provides this house with a warmth that will captivate you from the beginning. You will have at your disposal: central heating, courtyard, sunbathing area with shower, fireplace, cooktop and electric oven, microwave, beater and bender, coffee machine, toaster, fondue, washing machine, dish washer, TV in the living room, TV in all bedrooms, cot, music and DVD player, library, board games, free parking, iron and iron board, hair dryer, two extra beds, WiFi connection.
