Description
The church of San Juan is the most important Romanesque church of Alba de Tormes and one of the Mudejar style with greater entity of the province. The original structure appears today significantly altered by numerous transformations during the 15th and 16th centuries. From its late Romanesque past it preserves mainly the header and the collateral walls up to the height of the doorways. The most magnificent element of the temple is the polychrome stone apostolate inside the main chapel.
