SAN JUAN BAUTISTA DE ARATORÉS

Description
Although it already appears referenced in documents from the 11th century, it is a church from the 12th century, of which only the head is preserved, while the nave, the tower attached to the foot of the temple and the sacristy located on the south side of the head are product of a 17th century restoration. But the place is known for the important epigraphic lauda that, reused, has been embedded in the south wall of the temple towards the foot of it, which dates it to the era 939 (year 901). It is located to the right of the Trinitarian chrismon reused on the entrance door, with six arms with apocalyptic symbols in an orthodox situation.
