Description

Begun to constructing in times of Alfonso VIII of Castile in style Romanesque and finished in the middle of the 13th century with Gothic coverages. The church has form of Latin cross, with a nave of six sections separated by arches fajones pointed and covered for vaults of crucería, with nave of cruise and triple head-board, formed by a central semicircular apse and two absidiolos rectangular wings. Since it is habitual in the Cistercian monasteries, his decoration is very simple and the portico, Gothic, is placed in the western gable-wall. His restoration received a prize of Roman Spain Nostra in 1981.
