Description
The monastery of the river Piedra is undoubtedly one of the tourist destinations of Aragon. It owes to that aúna historical, artistic, landscape and geological values of the first order. The construction of the monastery, founded in 1194, developed between the year 1195 and 1218. The exposition of the same one is tardorrománico, Cistercian; but his edifying solutions that we can see are predominantly Gothic. It stands out in addition for the natural place in the one that is situated, where it predominates over the abundant vegetation and the water jumps.
