Description
Founded on a promontory in 936 by San Rosendo, it was refounded in 1135, to which belongs its church built in granite ashlar, Romanesque of a single flat roof nave, separated by a triumphal arch of half a point slightly bent on semicolumns and capitals of the apse of semicircular plan covered by dome of quarter of sphere, which due to the terrain structure is supported by several lower dependencies. The complex, which is accessed by a staircase to the doorway supporting a large baroque tower, is completed with the remains of several buildings inside the enclosure, such as the sacristy and other monastery premises.
