Description

The Lugareja is considered to be the masterpiece of the Romanesque – Mudejar native of Avila, in spite of being an unfinished building. Initially it was a church belonging to a community of Cistercian nuns, which according to a missing inscription have should to be founded in 1237. His dome is very interesting on the cruceroo that while internally it is cylindrical with arqurías imitandp the drums of the Group of Salamanca, though only cautro of them with windows, externally he appears as a square tower.
