IGLESIA ARCIPRESTAL DE SAN MATEO (R)
Description
The church arciprestal of San Mateo was constructed in the 13th century after the conquest of the zone by Jaime I Conquering. His style is situated astride between the Romanesque one and the Gothic, being the most ancient element of the set and, for ende, with one more Romanesque one cigar, the portalada of the main face. The temple possesses plant of Latin cross, vault of crucería and principal apse. As information to standing out, aiming that it was in this church where it finished the Schism of West on August 15, 1429.
