ERMITA DE SAN BARTOLOMÉ DE UCERO (R)
Description
The hermitage of Ucero’s Saint Bartholomew, it is an attractive building late Romanesque both for his own workmanship and for the wonderful landscape in which it is placed on the banks of the river Lobos. It has one alone is segmented in three sections by his major axis turned aside towards the north, head-board by presbytery that does not distinguish itself on the outside and lateral chapels that generate a form of Latin cross. The cylinder absidal is of semicircular plant, though over the línea of fascia it transforms to polígonal. It has the principal front page in the southern side and other two, to west and to north, both blocked nowadays.
