CATEDRAL DE TUY (R)
Description
Constructed on a rocky hill between 1120 and 1180, it has form of Latin cross, of three naves with transepto and three chapels in the head-board. In his exterior stand out his crenellated towers that give him aspect of strength. The church was very modified in the later centuries, for what only they stay of his original construction the interior of the transepto, with capitals of great quality, and the north front page. Between the changes the later changes it is necessary to emphasize the great western front page, one of the most beautiful of the Spanish Gothic.
