Description

Placed in the most north zone of Palencia, one finds the Collegiate church of San Salvador, founded at the end of the XIIth or beginning of the XIIIth for the Countess dona Elvira of Castile. The key element of this building and that more calls the attention is his enormous reed-mace, which, it plays the role to him palentinos different from the rest of the Romanesque temples, providing him this way with a great excepcionalidad and captivation, which they see increased by his good condition of conservation.
