CASTILLO DE TORRES DE MENZ (R)

Description
Built in the fifteenth century on a former castle destroyed in the Irmandiña War, it is a walled circular enclosure, surrounded by a pit with counterescarpment, which includes three rectangular stone towers and a building in the shape of L. The tribute tower is the largest of the three with three floors, with a wooden balcony on the last. Rehabilitated by its owner in 1988, received the Europa Nostra Award in 1993.
